Use Your Vote Wisely!

To send the real message to the Labour Party on May 1st 2008 Vote Conservative.

A vote for any other party and you might as well have voted for Labour.
Is that the message you really want to send?

The Conservatives the ONLY OPPOSITION party in Tameside.

I really find this statement insulting. People use their vote to make their oppinion heard. If I vote for a green candidate this year, it is because I want a GREEN councillor. It does not mean my vote is wasted at all. It means that however small or large the "minority" party gets, it is a good reflection of what people feel and want in that ward. Remember, we live in a democratic country... or so you would think!

Absolutely, votes to minority parties at last year's elections cost the Tories two seats.

Dear One Who Knows,

You may well find it insulting, and you may well want to vote for the Greens, but your vote won't change anything. All it will do is maintain the staus quo meaning NOTHING will change.

Gareth is quite right. We need REAL change, not protest votes that allow Labour to cling to power.

True Faith,

I couldn't have put it better myself any vote for the Greens, UKIP, BNP, Fib Dums or any other political force is a waste of a vote.

The only way for the public to exact their revenge upon Labour is to vote Conservative and teach Roy and his boys a lesson they won't forget. Labour have continually and consistently abused their position of trust in Tameside, and the only way of putting things right is for the majority of right-minded and right-thinking people to vote for change and vote Conservative.

Gareth is absolutely bang on when he says Tameside needs REAL change and not some contrived protest vote that allows Labour to remain in power.
