Nice to see Labour council officials handing out red silk roses to shoppers in Ashton, while Labour councillors handed out real red roses to residents in Dukinfield.
Maybe they don't know that the proper English rose is red and white, or maybe they are happy for subliminal electioneering at taxpayers' expense?
