Doreen sent a final message to the people of Stalybridge South in her latest leaflet.I think this message will blow the FAILED LABOUR CANDIDATE out of the water.
The last time this FAILED LABOUR CANDIDATE stood she got kicked out by the people in Ashton Hurst, after she proved to be a waste of space as a Councillor.
I think the people in Ashton St Michaels ,are thinking the same about her husband, or so i've been told by people on the door step.
(Yes another Husband and Wife Team in the Labour Party)
Now do the people of Stalybridge South want this FAILED LABOUR CANDIDATE to represent them?
I think the answer will be a resounding NO.
But you see right across Tameside, even in the times when the Labour Party are 18 POINTS BEHIND in the polls to the Conservatives they still have an air of SMUGNESS about them from the candidate in Hyde Werneth Claire Francis, (AKA Miss Pushy as one of the local reporters nicely phrased)
To sitting Councillors like Ged Cooney, who in his candidates election address in the Tameside Reporter, managed to literally string a sentence together, maybe he was busy thinking where to put his glasses? or what witty anecdote he can come out with in Council? or maybe the real reason is he's so complacent that he doesn't have to try any more as he thinks he will walk it?
These are all reasons why not to vote Labour on May 1st.
They expect your vote, we don't, we work hard for it.
Whether it's sending out regular Hurst First in Ashton Hurst, by letting the people of Hurst know what their Councillors are doing.
Or standing up for residents like Derek Baines on Paddock Road, making sure the Council do their bloody job.
On every single leaflet for each candidate they PROMISE that your already high Council Tax will be going up by a further 10% in the next three years.
This ABOVE INFLATION rate is their election message, they have nothing else, no new idea's.
Are they really worth your vote?
On May 1st, you have a choice! you can either vote for more of the same from the Labour Party? or you can vote for new direction under the Conservatives?
Each Ward is a Two Horse Race, with a couple of spectators.
Make sure your not left just standing there.
Come across the finishing line with the Conservatives.
The choice is yours and your alone! Make sure you use it!

There you go, there's Doreen telling it like it really is. You cannot go wrong with Cllr Dickinson, you get a direct answer to a direct question, no nonsense and no waffle. What you see is what you get.
Similarly in Hyde Werneth, who's out telling the truth and forcing the council to do what they should be doing? Cllr Derek Baines, that's who.
Who's out telling the truth and exposing Labour's lies and destroying the spin in Ashton Hurst? Cllr Richard Ambler.
Who's doing all the running in Audenshaw and St Michaels? Stacey Knighton and Paul Buckley.
Enough is enough, out with Labour and in with Tameside Tories.
It's other areas as well. Dorothy Cartwright has been canvassing and campaigning for months in Dukinfield/Stalybridge. No grand gestures, no publicity gimmicks, just hard work.
Similarly, Clive Patrick has been doing great things in Stalybridge North. Residents have been crying out for a crossing near the Churchfields Estate on Huddersfield Road, and got no response from the Labour councillors. In a matter of weeks Clive has organised a petition, handed it into Stalybridge District Assembly and now been a promised a crossing of some description.
And then there's Kevin Hartley in Mossley, who's been dealing with a host of issues in recent weeks for local residents.
Across the board the Tories haven't been this high profile for three decades.
They deserve all the success in the world come 1st May.
Labour deserve f*** all.
